Founded in 2002 in Mcbain Michigan, an Amish man named Samuel Miller ordered enough material from the local lumber yard to build a few sheds. Samuel built the sheds in the driveway in front of his family barn, with hopes of selling them before his lumber bill was due. That idea worked really, really well. From there, Mid Michigan Barns began to grow faster than he ever imagined. While running a few ads in the local newspaper, Samuel cleared out one of the pole barns on his property where he was able to expand production.

In late 2018, the ownership of Mid Michigan Barns changed hands to Stephen Miller and relocated just 20 miles south to Evart, Michigan. Other than that, nothing has changed! Mid Michigan Barns still offers the same high-quality, Amish-built sheds and barns. With an ardent focus on workmanship, we utilize premium-grade building materials at a fair price.
